Each month, we showcase kids who are accomplishing amazing things.  We hope that by telling their special stories, we will inspire other kids to accomplish their own amazing achievements.

Congratulations to our August 2005 Amazing Kids! of the Month honorees, the amazingly dedicated celebrity kids and youth from the Entertainment and Recording Industries who volunteer their time and talents for "Kids With a Cause," an organization dedicated to help kids in need!

Read their story below and who knows?  Maybe you'll be inspired to join their Kids Club, or volunteer for them, and join them in their great cause--helping kids in need!

Kids With a Cause

The members of Kids With A Cause select the causes, events and programs in which they become involved. Some of their causes include:

• Abandonment, Neglect or Abuse
• Cancer, Leukemia & other blood disorders
• Cystic Fibrosis
• Developmentally Delayed
• Foster/Adoptive
• HIV/AIDS
• Homelessness
• Juvenile Diabetes
• Low Income
• Physically, Mentally, Emotionally Challenged
• Visual & hearing impaired

• Arts, Entertainment & Enrichment Programs
  
• Educational Programs
  
• Environmental Programs
  
• Health & Well-Being Programs
  

The ultimate goal of these programs is to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged youth while at the same time, enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.

The United Nations recently granted Kids with a Cause "NGO" (Non-Governmental Organization) status.  Kids with a Cause is now associated with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations.  The group's first trip under their new status will be to India this Fall, where they'll visit an orphanage affected by last year's tragic tsunami.

Kids With a Cause Kids Club

• Help more children and teens in many ways and many places
  
• Expand their organization's volunteer opportunities globally
  
• Promote the importance of providing encouragement and support to less fortunate youth
  
• Recognize the charitable efforts of the Kids With A Cause Club Members on our web site and in newsletters

The Kids Club was designed to support the work of the organization and Kids Club members have the opportunity to participate in programs and activities in their local communities as well as attend Kids With A Cause events, whenever possible. (Please note that Kids With A Cause does not provide transportation and/or lodging for event participation.)
