Kids! of the Month
Amazing Kids! is proud to highlight the Amazing Kids! of the Month! Each month, we showcase kids who are accomplishing amazing things. We hope that by telling their special stories, we will inspire other kids to accomplish their own amazing achievements. Amazing Kids! of the Month for August, 2005: Kids With a Cause; Culver City, California
"We
are proud to have celebrity youth members volunteer their time to
support our cause. It is through their charitable efforts that Kids With A Cause continues to help
those less fortunate. "We
have two hands. One is for helping ourselves and becoming
responsible. The other is for reaching out and helping others." Linda
Finnegan, "We
believe that everyone can help someone in some way. It's
important to do whatever we can, whenever we can." Hilary
Duff,

Kids With A Cause, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which emphasizes the value of youth helping youth, was founded in September 1999 by Linda Finnegan, its current Executive Director, to help disadvantaged children and youth. Amazing Ms. Finnegan's philosophy is to support the dynamic child within and nurture responsibility. Members of Kids With a Cause include celebrity kids and youth from the film, television & the recording industries who understand the importance of "giving back" to their communities and children. These caring and dedicated young people make appearances and perform at charity events across the U.S. and in Canada to show their support for kids' causes, as well as participate in the organization's various programs. The members of Kids With A Cause select the causes, events and programs in which they become involved. Some of their causes include:
