Note from Ivy's teacher, Carla Kasun:

"Ivymount School is a private facility for children and young adults with disablities. The school fosters the intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth of students with special needs so that, to the greatest extent possible, they many move into the mainstream of regular education and become self-supporting members of their communities."

Way to go, Abby!  We're proud of you!  As a winner of the Amazing Kids! Writing Contest, you are helping to show the world that kids with special needs are accomplishing amazing things!  Keep up the good work!

    Sarah

Once upon a time there lived an amazing kid whose name was Sarah. She played outside one day and noticed the birds flying. She tried to fly and it worked. She had wings so she could fly!  Then she noticed she could touch the ground from up in the sky. She was so happy to be 100 feet tall that she had to tell her mom. Her mom said,

"You are joking! You can't be 100 feet tall!"

Then her mom noticed how tall she was. So her mom said,

"You are 100 feet tall! You are the tallest person in the world!"

When she sat down in the grass, her feet and arms were so long that she could reach the forest.

One day her mom made her go to school, but she did not want to because she was sick. So she hid in the forest during school hours. She was feeling better by afternoon.

She walked through the forest and suddenly a mean person came and offered her a poison apple. As the wicked person laughed, Sarah fell to the ground. Then a few hours later she woke up. She got out of the forest at 5:00 a.m. the next morning. She had fruit for breakfast and a muffin.

She went to school the next day and noticed she had a test. She sneaked out of the classroom and flew all over the school to clear her brain. She took the test and it was all correct. She was the best person in the school. She got to teach. She put out the fire when the school had a fire. She was a hero. She caused spells to make kids feel better. One day she got to play in a baseball game. She sneaked a hockey stick from the gym and batted with that instead. She swung the hockey stick and she hit the ball so hard that it flew to a strange country and went into space.

In the middle of the night she saw a huge house. She lifted a house all night long and carried it to a strange country were the ball was. She sneaked into a restaurant and tasted the food. She got to cook. She cooked so much food so fast that the hole restaurant was flooded with good food. She did so much magic that it turned into a magic show. She watched and then she was called over to show them magic tricks she made them float up in the air. She sneaked into a balloon launch and launched 1 million balloons at once.

One day she let go of the zip line and still had two hands. That was when she noticed she had 3 hands. She could reach out and touch the moon when she was only 8 years old.

One day she crashed into a tree because she did not see were she was going. There was blood all over the place. Her stomach hurt so badly that she cried. Her eyes were red. She reached out to a money bank sneaked 35 cents and called 911. The ambulance came and took her to the hospital. She got ether and got knocked out within 30 seconds of the time she got to the hospital. She fell asleep and the people who did the operation removed her appendix. She was fine by the next day. In the afternoon she went home from the hospital.

Her powers came back by the next morning. She got a checkup and she was fine. She got a shot and she was ok.

She planted a flower and it rained and the sun shined. The flower was very pretty. She worked hard on planting the flower. She got a reward for planting the most pretty flower. She could make huge castles out of teeth wood and meddle. The castles were so big that they could take up a whole tree. She got tired so she rested for awhile.

She toured an airplane and noticed that some people did not get the seats they were supposed to go because there were not enough seats for every one. She designed little rooms full of poles. How the poles would work is you would stand with your back to the pole and you would grab the seat belt and you would buckle your seat belt at the end of the pole which had holes in it. That helped a lot.

She could make magic.  She could grab a whole bunch of stars at once and turn them into teeth to make teeth castles. She could make stars out of teeth. She could make weather that was warm. She would make it rain buy turning on a switch. She could play such pretty music that she was the best piano player in the world.

She signed up for a group called making baseball bats. The making bat group had a contest to see who could make the most bats an hour. Sarah won the contest. She made palm tree bats to confuse the baseball players. She made normal everyday bats too. She made 2 zillion bats a minute. She worked at the bat factory from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

She made a lot of money. She had enough money to get all the jobs done in the world done in just 3 minutes. One day she went to the carnival and there was a race and she won because she ran so fast she was there in 3 seconds.

She lived for 100 years. She wrote services for when 100 years passed. She kept her money in her own bank. She had 8 trizillion piggy banks full of money. She gave 1 million dollars to the nursing homes and the hospitals and the poor so the people would have enough money to live. The people lived happily ever after.
