    1952-2000

Sarah was always appreciative, kind, and respectful to others. Sarah had a hard life, but that did not stop her from always offering whatever she could. Sarah was a veterinarian's helper, and was one of the first people to see our dog. It's amazing to me that someone could be so full of life 3 years ago, but be dead now.

One of the sweetest things that I think people did for Sarah to remember her was that when she died, her parents had one of her 2 dogs cremated, and now their ashes are together. The first thing I learned about Sarah was that she had breast cancer. It was right before I went to my grandmother's house for Thanksgiving, 1998.

It's still hard for me to believe that I only knew Sarah for two years before she died, and I loved her so much. Only when her life began to die away did I realize this. Dead or alive, Sarah will always be my hero.
