Celebrating the Achievements of
ChildrenÔ
| The
Amazing Kids! Television Show
The Amazing Kids! Television Show is a weekly television program targeted for the elementary school child, and is currently under development. The program is unique and unprecedented. It is the first educational program of its kind to focus on the amazing accomplishments of children, in order to bring awareness of these children and their accomplishments to other children, as well as adults. Although today there are many children who have achieved, or are achieving, the "amazing," we rarely hear about them. What is missing is a communication bridge to broadcast their inspiring stories to a wider audience. The Amazing Kids! television show will act as this communication bridge. It is the intent of Amazing Kids!to bring the program into classrooms across the country on a weekly basis. The program is meant to inspire new projects and collaborative efforts among students, teachers and other mentors, and presents teachers with the opportunity to integrate the program into their curriculum. Instructor's guides will be included for use in conjunction with the program. What Students Will Learn: Problem solving and critical thinking skills Through observing how other children overcame obstacles and accomplished their goals, students will be aided in acquiring invaluable problem-solving and critical thinking skills--vital to accomplishing their own goals. Inspiring Stories of Other Children Through seeing how other children were able to accomplish "amazing" things, students will become inspired to accomplish their own exceptional achievements. Each show ends with a "call to action" challenging children in the audience to become the next "Amazing Kids." ("Who knows? Maybe you will be the next Amazing Kid!")
