Amazing Kids! adult advisors:
Alyse Rome, Founder and President, Amazing Kids!, an educational non-profit organization for kids. Alyse founded the organization and its website for kids ( www.amazing-kids.org) in 1998. Her purpose: to help inspire kids and teens to actively explore and discover their own unique gifts, talents and abilities, with the help of caring adult mentors, so they can realize their own "amazing" potential.

Alyse is responsible for running the Amazing Kids! organization, as well as overseeing the amazingly talented youth-led staff of the Amazing Kids! eZine. In early 2001, Alyse launched the Amazing Kids! eZine in order to give kids and teens a challenging and exciting "real world" experience of producing an electronic magazine ("eZine") on their own.

The Amazing Kids! eZine gives kids and teens a unique opportunity to express themselves creatively to a wide-ranging cyber audience. By reading the creative works of their peers from around the world, kids (as well as adults) soon come to realize just how much we share in common as human beings, no matter where we live.

Through her work for Amazing Kids!, Alyse has helped the organization gain the support of companies such as Toyota, DreamWorks, Ty, Playmates Toys, Toonville.com, Gilchrist Studios Online, Zoom Cartoons and Rockwell. She is committed to raising more awareness and funding in order to expand the "Amazing Mentors!" program, which has thus far helped create opportunities for dozens of talented kids to work with professional artists and writers who act as their mentors.

Alyse's dream: "Let's work together to insure that every child in this world has the same opportunities to utilize their own unique gifts in a positive and productive manner, so that no child's potential ever goes to waste. Every child, as a future citizen of this world, should know he or she is loved and has the potential to make a positive difference in the world. As caring adults, we need encourage our children to discover their own special gifts and guide them in using those gifts to help make the world a better place for all."
