You don’t have to go to a lake this summer to make a great catch and have some fun. All you need is 4 materials and 3 ingredients. Follow the steps, and you have a tasty snack that you’re sure to get hooked on!

NOTE:  While cooking can be fun, it can also be dangerous. Whenever you use any sharp, hot, or dangerous materials (such as a stove, oven, or knife), please let an adult help you. The steps in this recipe that you will need an adult’s help with are marked with an *.

Materials:

1. 1 Large bowl
2. 1 Butter knife
3. 1 Small pot
4. 4 Glass cups

Ingredients:

1. 1 Package of blue gelatin (we used Berry Blue Jell-O)
2. 4 Gummy candies (we used Swedish Fish)
3. 4 Tablespoons of fresh berries (raspberries work best, but grapes and sliced strawberries are fine)

Directions:
This recipe makes 4 servings

* 1. Prepare blue gelatin according to the package directions using the small pot.
* 2. Pour the gelatin into a large bowl and put it in the freezer for about 45 minutes.
3. Spoon 1 tablespoon of berries into each cup, then pour the gelatin over the berries. The berries will be floating. Put the cups into the freezer for 10 minutes, then push the berries to the bottom of the cups with a butter knife.
4. Leave the cups in the freezer for 30 minuets, then poke the gummy fishes in. (1 gummy fish per cup).

Enjoy fishing in your cup with a spoon!
