You don’t have to go to a lake this summer to make a great
catch and have some fun. All you need is 4 materials and 3 ingredients.
Follow the steps, and you have a tasty snack that you’re sure to get
hooked on!
NOTE: While cooking can be fun, it can also be
dangerous. Whenever you use any sharp, hot, or dangerous materials
(such as a stove, oven, or knife), please let an adult help you. The
steps in this recipe that you will need an adult’s help with are marked
with an *.
Materials:
1. 1 Large bowl
2. 1 Butter knife
3. 1 Small pot
4. 4 Glass cups
Ingredients:
1. 1 Package of blue gelatin (we used Berry Blue Jell-O)
2. 4 Gummy candies (we used Swedish
Fish)
3. 4 Tablespoons of fresh berries (raspberries work best, but grapes
and sliced strawberries are fine)
Directions:
This recipe makes 4 servings
* 1. Prepare blue gelatin according to the
package directions using the small pot.
* 2. Pour the gelatin into a large bowl and
put it in the freezer for about 45 minutes.
3. Spoon 1 tablespoon of berries into each cup, then pour the gelatin
over the berries. The berries will be floating. Put the cups into the
freezer for 10 minutes, then push the berries to the bottom of the cups
with a butter knife.
4. Leave the cups in the freezer for 30 minuets, then poke the gummy
fishes in. (1 gummy fish per cup).
Enjoy fishing in your cup with a spoon!
