Here they are!  The winners of the Amazing Kids! "My Amazing Future" 2002 contest!

Congratulations to everyone who entered!   Like last year's contest, our judges had to spend extra hours trying to pick the "winners" because the quality of the entries were outstanding!  We think you are all winners, though we can only give the award and prizes to five kids.  We hope you continue participating in future Amazing Kids! Contests. 

Below are the winning essays, listed by age category.  Prizes:  The winners will receive a gift certificate for Border's Books, so they can buy a book to learn more about their amazing future careers.  The older winners (ages 13-17) will also receive a writing journal to help them continue writing about and planning for their amazing future.  The younger winners, age 6-12 will receive one of contest judge Jane Kirkland's books, either:  Take a Tree Walk or Take a Backyard Bird Walk! 

Finally, Amazing Kids! will try to find mentors for all the winners in the career of their dreams!
