Meet
Guy Gilchrist
Ask anyone
who knows Guy Gilchrist and they will tell you: he is a very cool
cartoonist! Did you know he spends many days visiting kids at
schools
throughout Connecticut, his home state?
Guy has
written & illustrated 40 children’s books, and is the syndicated
(his
comics appear in many newspapers) cartoonist of Nancy, The
Muppets, Night
Lights & Pillow Fights, Mud Pie, and The Rock
Channel.
Guy's work has been shown in both newspapers, and museums worldwide and
permanently enshrined in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington,
D.C.
Guy and
his amazing wife Angie are the team behind Guy Gilchrist's
Cartoonist's Academy, where they offer lots of fun activities for
kids!

mentor to 17 year old Laura Tisdel, the grand prize winner of the
first Amazing
Kids! Comic Strip Drawing Contest 2000! Laura helped create the
Amazing
Kids! Comic Adventures on the Amazing Kids! Comics Pages on our
website, so don't forget to check them out! You can also see the amazing
