About the Launch My Dream! Initiative

Amazing Kids! is pleased to announce our new Launch My Dream! Initiative. The goals of the initiative are to help identify kids in communities across America who have high potential and a big vision or dream they want to accomplish for their amazing future. Then, with the help of community members, individuals, organizations, businesses and corporations, we will gather the resources needed to help these kids launch their amazing dreams!

Amazing Kids! believes no child's potential should ever go to waste. We invite you to join us in helping support our kids as they grow up to become the next generation of amazing adults in our communities!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

1. Make a donation to the Launch My Dream! Initiative Fund and help us help kids launch their dreams!

2. Become a sponsor. We welcome sponsorships from large corporations and small businesses alike! Email us for sponsorship information.

3. Start a Launch My Dream! Team(TM) in your community!

The "Dream! Teams" will help identify kids right in their own communities who demonstrate high potential, a drive to succeed, clear goals and a big vision for their own amazing future. The Teams will help select the kids for the initiative, help them create a plan, and help gather the resources they will need to launch their dreams.

Each Dream! Team will then be eligible to submit their stories to be considered for the upcoming Launch My Dream! videocast and tv show!

4. Help us spread the word! Please tell everyone you know about Amazing Kids! and our Launch My Dream! initiative! The more supporters we get, the more kids we can help!

Here's some ideas for getting the word out:

Email your friends
Add an Amazing Kids! "Launch My Dream!" Charity Badge to your blog, social networking site like Facebook or MySpace pages, or personal or company web pages.

Hold a Launch My Dream! Team recruiting event in your neighborhood! Be creative and have fun spreading the word about this exciting, unprecedented initiative to help kids launch their dreams! Email us for ideas and suggestions.

5. Help your child enter the Launch My Dream! Contests!

Kids ages 5-17 are invited to design the first-ever Launch My Dream! T-Shirt 2008! Part of the proceeds from sales of the winning shirt design will be donated to support the Launch My Dream! Initiative Fund, and the winner will get to keep 3% of the proceeds!
Stay tuned for the kick off of our Launch My Dream! Video Essay and Theme Song Music Contests! Kids up to age 18 are welcome to submit a one minute video of themselves, describing their dreams for their own amazing future, or compose a theme song for our upcoming "Launch My Dream!" videocast and tv show! Start planning your video and song today! Rules and entry information will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
