Kids! of the Month
Amazing Kids! is proud to highlight the Amazing Kids! of the Month!
Each month, we showcase kids who are accomplishing amazing things. We hope that by telling their special stories, we will inspire other kids to accomplish their own amazing achievements.
Amazing Kids! of the Month for March, 2007:
The Amazing Kids' Band, Creation; New York, New York
Quotes of the Month:
"Our mission is to help create a more peaceful world for the future, and to educate kids about multiculturalism, tolerance and peace.”
~ Raechel Rosen, 14, lead singer of Creation™
"Our wish is that everyone would look through the windows of the world and think, ‘Wow, my brothers and sisters everywhere around the world need our help. What can I do to help them?”
“We are the next generation. If we learn to respect and understand each other while we are young, there will be hope for a world without hatred in our future.”

In 2003, two fifth graders from New York City, New York, Thomas and Sam, decided to start a band. After asking for other classmates’ interests, the band Creation was formed with six band members. What initially began as merely a fun activity soon evolved into something much more. One night, after lead singer Raechel Rosen’s parents came home from a We Are Family Foundation benefit event, she became inspired to reach out to those less fortunate through music. Creation’s first album, World Without Windows, was released in November of 2005. 100% of the proceeds went to the We Are Family Foundation, a non-profit organization formed after 9/11 to help promote diversity and cultural understanding.

kids of Creation have learned
that young people truly can make a difference and
make the world a better place for all. They encourage children around
to discover ways to give back and change the lives of those who are
fortunate. Currently, Creation
hopes to raise $250,000 for the We Are Family
Foundation’s Just Peace 2007 Summit

It's no secret...every person has an "amazing-ness" inside of them, just waiting to be discovered. (Sometimes we just need a little help in finding out what that "amazing-ness" is!)
some amazing things too, we want to hear about it! Send
us your stories about your amazing accomplishments, so we can tell
the world just how amazing you are! We are always looking for new
stories. And don't be shy! We'd love to hear from you!
Here's an idea you might want to try:
WHY NOT HELP OTHERS SEE THEIR OWN POTENTIAL?
If you know someone who needs a little encouragement, why not tell them what you think is special about them? Maybe you can be the one to help them uncover their own special talents!
Amazing Kids! is looking for teens to be Amazing Teen Volunteers and Ambassadors . If you'd like to join Amazing Kids! in helping to spread the word, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
