Kids With A Cause, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which emphasizes the value of youth helping youth, was
founded in September 1999 by Linda Finnegan, its current Executive Director, to help disadvantaged children and youth.  Amazing Ms. Finnegan's philosophy is to support the dynamic child within and nurture responsibility.

Members of Kids With a Cause include celebrity kids and youth from the film, television & the recording industries who understand the importance of "giving back" to their communities and children.  These caring and dedicated young people make appearances and perform at charity events across the U.S. and in Canada to show their support for kids' causes, as well as participate in the organization's various programs.

The members of Kids With A Cause select the causes, events and programs in which they become involved. Some of their causes include:

  • Abandonment, Neglect or Abuse
  • Cancer, Leukemia & other blood disorders
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Developmentally Delayed
  • Foster/Adoptive
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Homelessness
  • Juvenile Diabetes
  • Low Income
  • Physically, Mentally, Emotionally Challenged
  • Visual & hearing impaired
...as well as many others!

The organization designs programs which help children in need interact with celebrity children and participate in activities which help make a difference in each other's lives. They create special activities in the following four areas:
  • Arts, Entertainment & Enrichment Programs
  • Educational Programs
  • Environmental Programs
  • Health & Well-Being Programs

The ultimate goal of these programs is to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged youth while at the same time, enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.

The United Nations recently granted Kids with a Cause "NGO" (Non-Governmental Organization) status.  Kids with a Cause is now associated with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations.  The group's first trip under their new status will be to India this Fall, where they'll visit an orphanage affected by last year's tragic tsunami.

Congratulations, "Kids!"
