Animation Contest Rules
(Please make sure you read them carefully!)
in association with Dreamworks SKG, is hosting the first annual Amazing Kids! Animation Contest for kids & teens ages 6-17!

All amazing animations will be shown in the Amazing Kids! Animation Station, due to be launched in Winter 2000!
The 5 W's:
Who, What, When, Why & Where
Who: Kids ages 6-17 are eligible to enter
What: An amazing 10-15 second animation (Important: click here to read the complete contest assignment!)" Animations can be submitted in any format, including:
  1. Traditional hand drawn cell animation
  2. Macromedia Flash (SWF) animation for the Web
  3. Animated gif
  4. (Animation) video or film
When: New! Deadline has been extended until December 15, 2000
Why: It's fun! It's challenging!  And you may get a chance to work with a professional animator!
Where: Depending on the format, entries can either be emailed to Amazing Kids! at:

Please include the following information with your contest entry:
  1. Name
  2. Age
  3. Grade level
  4. Address
  5. Email address (if you have one)
  6. Telephone number
  7. Name of School
  8. Answers to the questions (see below)
Please note: Amazing Kids! and our contest sponsors respect your privacy!  We will not share any personal contact information with anyone outside of the staff of the Amazing Kids! Animation Contest. This information is for our contact purposes only, to notify the winners.
Only the winners name, age, grade level and school will be announced on our websites.
All contest entries shall be considered the copyrighted property of Amazing Kids! and will not be returned.
This contest is VOID where prohibited. There is no purchase necessary to enter the contest. There are no substitutions for prizes. All winners will be notified by email or smail mail.

Contest Questions
Please include the following information with your contest entry:
  1. What is one of your favorite things to do?
  2. Why are you entering the Amazing Kids! Animation Contest?
  3. Name your favorite animated cartoon characters. Why are they your favorite?
  4. If you could do one amazing thing in your life, what would it be, and why would you do it?
Don't forget to include your answers to the questions when you mail in your animations!

We will select some contest entries to appear in our soon-to-be-launched (Winter, 2000) Amazing Kids! Animation Station.
