1. Name two amazing things about Nellie Bly.
-
She became a journalist.
-
She pretended she was sick so she could see what things went on in a
mental home.
2. Why do you think they were amazing?
Her becoming a journalist is amazing because not very many women
wrote for newspapers.
Pretending she was sick was amazing because it would be very difficult
to do something like that, and it would take a lot of courage and bravery.
3. Think about one amazing thing you would
like to do in your life. Describe what it is, and why you want to
do it.
I would like to win an Olympic medal in swimming, so I can break
all of the other records in that race.
