Here is a poem written by Anosha, or "Annie" and dedicated to her mother and all the mothers of the world, especially for Mother's Day!  Anosha lives in the United Kingdom, where they celebrate Mother's Day on April 2, which is earlier in the year than we do in the United States. No matter where you live, Happy Mother's Day, Moms! Did you know that in the United Kingdom, children often call their mothers "mum?" In the United States, children often call their mothers "mom" or "mother." What do children from your home town call their mothers?

For Mum You fed me love, you fed me joy, You  fed me thoughts and gave me toys Oh my mum, I love you like the stars above, Your beauty's greater than a dove, When you smile, The birds will sing Oh my mum, what joy you bring
