The Enlightenment of Christmas
The ferocious febrile
is seizing, dominating.
I'm carrying passengers
along with me, they have the disease too.
Like a feline creeping
we anticipate its pounce, its coming, I detect it internally.
We thaw by the blazing
fire, the euphoria,
the intoxication of the
night.
